Physical Description Brittle woody stems, densely covered in rough, finely divided, grayish white leaves, on a low evergreen sub-shrub that displays small button-like yellow flowers on long stems above the aromatic foliage in summer.
Care and Maintenance Becomes woody and sparse looking with age. Frequent clipping or shearing may be required to maintain neat compact look.
Gardener's notes Low water user once established. Good accenting ground cover. Very similar to S. virens, (Green lavender), cotton which has dark green foliage.
